Day 28 - Hello Sydney!

At approximately 1600 hrs Catana sailed through the heads of Sydney harbour ... at last they have arrived!

There was a fair bit of fluffing around with Customs, but no issues with immigration other than them thinking that the hairy-faced Jeff looked nothing like the smooth-faced picture in his Diplomatic passport! Quarantine didn't even bother to come aboard the boat until the following morning ... which gave the guys plenty of time to offload all the contraband (joking of course)!!!

Obviously the guys looked rather exhausted and definitely in need of a shower, but were otherwise in fine form and keen for a beer as soon as the boat was securely berthed.

The welcoming party included myself, Jack, Harry, Mary (Jeff's mum) and Joe's sister from Sydney and her friend.

So, time for photo's ... Jack and Harry eagerly awaiting Daddy's return; Nic with Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background; moored to the Customs boat; the crew of Catana back on land celebrating with a beer.

Over and out ...

Tania
