Two weeks on and we are finally off again!! Whilst myself and the boys had a trip to the other side of Sydney to visit a friend (hello to Amy and her gorgeous kids Sarah, Charlotte and Connor!) the installation of the motor was completed. Of course when the fridge was reconnected it wasn’t working, so we had to spend some more dosh on getting it regassed!!
So as of midday on the 12th of March we were officially on our next leg. From Quays Marina we went back to Refuge Bay, and the boys had a great time swimming to the beach, playing in the waterfall and just doing holiday stuff! The next day we had a meander up the Hawkesbury River, and saw how the
other half live. There are some amazing places, with some just as amazing boats parked outside … they sure made ours look little.The 2nd night was spent up the river, and we are now parked just inside Pittwater, at Barenjoey heads, ready for a departure early tomorrow morning. We do think the Hawkesbury is gorgeous, but sure are glad to be moving on. Fingers crossed there will be no feeding the fish tomorrow … wish us (me) luck!
