22 May

Very pleasant sail to Goldsmith Island. Had to anchor a fair way off shore due to lots of coral, but a scenic spot nonetheless. Spent the afternoon at the beach, pleasant nights sleep despite strong winds but woken up at 6.20am with Jack letting us know that our tender was upside down in the water. Wouldn’t normally be a problem, but we had left the outboard in it, and it was fully submerged - doh! Thankfully with a bit of work, Jeff managed to salvage it and got it working again. That could have been an expensive lesson. Needless to say, the outboard won’t be left on the tender overnight again.

Over and out…
