Very rolly sail to Thomas. Motored in reverse most of the way to charge the batteries and still managed 5kts under headsail alone.
Two other boats already there when we arrived so had to anchor further out than previously, so set the 2nd anchor to try and keep the swell off our beam. Jeff went ashore on middle beach with the boys and they saw hundreds of butterflies – Harry was over the moon. There were lots of mozzies and bullets (wind), so could be an interesting night.
I finally repaired the headsail today (it only took me 3 months!) and it wasn’t easy. Standing top deck, hand sewing through 3 layers of canvas whilst the boat rolled around. Fun, fun, fun! But it is great to have it crossed off the ‘to do’ list (have you noticed this list is never-ending? No sooner have you ticked one item off it, 3 more appear!).
Over and out …
