A GREAT nights sleep (yay!) followed by a great sail to Cape Gloucester around North of Hayman Is and through Gloucester Passage. Wind was 20/25kt S/SE, on the beam and we screamed across Whitsunday Passage at 6½ kts. We motored through Gloucester passage easily using the Southern route, and anchored close to the beach off Gloucester Eco Resort. We could have taken one of their moorings, and had access to the resort facilities, but at $20 a night and limited facilities we didn’t think it was worth it.
