The house keys were officially handed over today, so we are officially homeless (but not boatless) - our ties with Wellington are slowly but surely being cut.
Kit Marshall (aka Gadget King) arrived today and reality is really sinking in - it is getting veeerrrry close. Jeff has almost finished work, and final preparations on the boat are being completed. We were pretty disappointed when we discovered that the fridge had packed it in again, but we were lucky that our repair co' (York Ltd) was very accommodating and repaired it quick smart - thanks Hamish. Who would think that one itty bitty seal could cause so much grief. Fear not crew, your beers WILL be cold!
Tonight sees all four men meeting up for the first time on the boat ... hmmm, it's gonna be cosy!
