The countdown is well and truly on! The last few weeks have been spent preparing for the house removal; getting the garage cleaned out, all outdoor equipment scrubbed to within an inch of it's life, the holes in the lawn repaired (gotta love kids), trying to off load all the baby gear :-( and mostly getting rid of 3 years worth of crap that should have been thrown out a LONG time ago.
Today we started moving out of the house, which means the packers are working really hard whilst Jeff watches the cricket and Tania chills out with the boys ... it's a tough life! Our temporary accommodation is an apartment which conveniently overlooks the marina where Catana is berthed, so there is a constant reminder of the exciting adventures to follow shortly.
This next week sees Jeff doing his handover at work, Kit arriving from Oz (Kit and Joe get to meet for the first time!), and finalising things on the boat - tidying up, stocking with food, going over procedures etc ... it's getting close now!
Well, we hope you all had a great New Years Eve and we look forward to hearing from you as we travel along.
PS: congratulations to Paul and Sue who welcomed their first baby, Logan James, into the world today! We give them all our love and we look forward to meeting the little champ in the not-too-distant future.xxoo
